After you configure DNS records for a domain name, you must set an effective scope for them to take effect.

Procedure

Set the effective scope for a built-in authoritative domain name as follows:

Go to Alibaba Cloud DNS - Private DNS.
On the Authoritative Zone page, on the User Defined Zones tab, find the target domain name.
In the Actions column, click Effective Scope.
Important
For a built-in authoritative domain name with no DNS records, you must add DNS records before you set the effective scope.
On the Effective Scope tab, click the Effective in on-premises DNS clusters box, and then select the DNS clusters in which the domain name will take effect.
