Alibaba Cloud DNS automatically reclaims PTR records when the associated public IP address is released or no longer belongs to your account, keeping your DNS records accurate.
Revocation mechanism

Detection mechanism: The system checks daily whether your Alibaba Cloud account still owns the public IP address resources associated with PTR records in each region.

Automatic deletion: If a public IP address is released or no longer belongs to your Alibaba Cloud account, the system automatically deletes the corresponding PTR records.

Alert notifications: When a PTR record is deleted, the system sends an alert by email and text message.
NoteEnsure that Alibaba Cloud DNS High Risk Notification is selected in Basic Recipient Management and that Receiving Channel is set correctly.
Available notification channels include internal message, text message, and email. Select the channels as needed.
