If you encounter the SOCKS proxy:connect timed out fault when using Cloud Toolkit to connect to the cloud, the cause might be a leftover configuration from the lightweight configuration center.
Solutions
You can resolve this fault by deleting the configurations for the lightweight configuration center.
- For Spring Cloud applications, remove the following configuration items:
spring.cloud.alicloud.acm.server-list=127.0.0.1 spring.cloud.alicloud.acm.server-port=8080 spring.cloud.alicloud.ans.server-list=127.0.0.1 spring.cloud.alicloud.ans.server-port=8080 - For HSF applications, remove the following Hosts binding:
192.168.1.100 jmenv.tbsite.net
