Quick start

This topic describes how to use AB Test quickly.

The procedure is as follows:

1. Create a lab

2. Create an experiment

3. Commission an experiment

4. Run an experiment

5. End an experiment/apply a plan

Prerequisites

• Before using the AB Test component, you need to access Android/iOS. For details, see Access Android or Access iOS.

• Before creating a lab and experiment, you need to clarify the objectives and requirements of the experiment.

Process description

1. Create a lab

   Log in to the mPaaS console and go to the AB Test page. Then you can create a lab or enter an existing one.

2. Create an experiment

   After a lab is created, you can create different experiments to test different plans.

3. Commission an experiment

   Commissioning the experiment aims at testing whether the product functions properly. The product can start official running after commissioning.

4. Run an experiment

   Start the experiment and officially run an experiment plan.

5. End an experiment/apply a plan

   After running an experiment for a period of time, you can end an experiment or Apply a plan in the experiment.
