Debug Experiment

After you create an experiment, test it. This ensures the experiment runs correctly before you start it.

Note

Data from test mode is not included in the official experiment data.

Procedure

  1. In the Lab, click an experiment card to view its details.

  2. Select an experiment plan from the Select Plan drop-down list.

  3. Add users to the test audience by entering a Device ID or User ID.

  4. Click Start Debugging.

    Note

    • Although you can run the experiment directly, test it first to ensure all features work correctly.

    • If you skip testing, the experiment starts immediately.

  5. View the test data to confirm that all experiment features work correctly.

  6. (Optional) Click Re-debug to repeat the debugging steps.

  7. (Optional) Click Re-edit in the upper-right corner of the page to edit the basic information, variables, and metrics for the experiment. For more information, see Create an experiment.

  8. After you finish testing, click Start Experiment in the upper-right corner of the page to run the experiment.
