The IoT Platform lets you integrate products from your private brand projects with third-party platforms, such as Tmall Genie, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT. You can use voice commands to control your devices with the first three platforms. IFTTT is a service integration platform. Third-party platform integration is not supported for projects in the Tmall Genie ecosystem.
Background information
Tmall Genie integration is available only for devices activated within mainland China. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT platform integration is available for devices activated in Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), Taiwan (China), and other regions outside mainland China. Procedure
- Log on to the IoT Platform console.
- Go to the Human-Computer Interaction page for the product.
- In the navigation pane on the left, click the name of the third-party device.
- Turn on the third-party device integration switch.
Select a supported category to view the device's status property mappings and control instructions.Note Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT are value-added services. You must purchase these services before you can integrate them. For more information, see Service Center.
