Download device certificates

After mass production, you can download device certificates from the mass production records and flash them to your devices.

Prerequisites

You have completed device mass production. For more information, see Mass-produce devices.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the IoT Platform console.
  2. On the project homepage or the Batch Production page of the product, click Mass Production Management.
  3. Select Mass Production Records.
    You can view detailed mass production information.
  4. Click View for the desired mass production record. In the dialog box that appears, click Download Activation Codes and save the file to your computer.

    This file contains the device certificates (ProductKey, DeviceName, and DeviceSecret) and the ProductSecret. These are the activation credentials to flash to your devices.

    Note
    • You can find the ProductSecret in the basic information section on the right side of the Feature definitionDevice debugging
    • The flashing method varies depending on the device. Contact the module manufacturer for your device to obtain the correct flashing method.

    The IoT Platform provides a device certificate distribution tool to help you read and distribute the downloaded device certificate file (in CSV format). For more information, see Use the device certificate distribution tool.
