Security assurance from Alibaba ID²
For software, the KM security service is integrated into AliOS. You can purchase this service to use it.
For hardware, the SE security chip provides robust security for the lock.
Activate the smart lock service
To use the smart lock solution, you must first activate the smart lock service in the Service Center of the IoT Platform. For more information, see Service Center.

Security solution: ID²-SE
If you select the ID²-SE hardware-level security solution, the ID² security service is already integrated into the platform connection flow. You only need to connect the SE chip with ID². For more information, see Overview.
Security solution: ID²-KM
If you select the ID²-KM software-level security solution, no additional connection is required. The platform is already integrated with ID² in the following ways:

Glossary
Virtual user: An end user of a smart lock that is created under an account. For example, each family member who uses the lock is a virtual user.
