Obtain an AccessKey-City Visual Intelligence Engine(CityVisual)-阿里云帮助中心

You can create an AccessKey pair for an Alibaba Cloud account or a Resource Access Management (RAM) user. An AccessKey pair is used for identity verification when you call Alibaba Cloud APIs.

Background information

An AccessKey pair includes an AccessKey ID and an AccessKey secret.

AccessKey ID: This is used to identify the user.
AccessKey secret: This is used to authenticate the user. You must keep your AccessKey secret confidential.

Warning A leaked AccessKey pair for your Alibaba Cloud account compromises the security of all your resources. To reduce this risk, we recommend that you use the AccessKey pair of a RAM user for operations.

Procedure

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console with your Alibaba Cloud account.
Hover over the account icon in the upper-right corner and click AccessKeys.
On the Security Tips page, choose whether to create an AccessKey pair for an Alibaba Cloud account or a RAM user.
Create the AccessKey pair.
- Create an AccessKey pair for an Alibaba Cloud account
  1. Click Continue to Use AccessKey.
  2. On the Security Information Management page, click Create AccessKey.
  3. On the Phone Verification page, obtain and enter a verification code to complete the verification, and then click OK.
  4. On the Create User AccessKey page, expand AccessKey Details to view the AccessKey ID and AccessKey secret. You can click Save AK Information to download the AccessKey information.
- Create an AccessKey pair for a RAM user
  1. Click Start to Use RAM User AccessKey.
  2. If you have not created a RAM user, create one on the Create User page in the RAM console
  3. In the navigation pane on the left of the RAM console, choose Identities > Users. Search for the user for whom you want to create an AccessKey pair.
  4. Click the username. On the user details page, on the Authentication tab, find the User AccessKeys section and click Create New AccessKey
  5. On the Phone Verification page, obtain and enter a verification code to complete the verification, and then click OK.
  6. On the Create AccessKey page, view the AccessKey ID and AccessKey secret. You can click Download CSV File to download the AccessKey information or click Copy to copy it.
