The Deployment package management page displays information about the deployment packages for the current application, including the application name, the number of deployment packages, the latest package version, the creation time of the latest package, the technology stack and version, and the owner. You can manage application deployment packages on this page.
About this task
The Deployment package management list uses paging to display information about the deployment packages for all applications in the current workspace. By default, each page displays 10 items, up to a maximum of 20. You can also search for applications by name and filter the list to show only applications that have deployment packages.
On the Deployment package management page, you can perform the following operations:
Manage application deployment packages: View application information, upload deployment packages, publish applications, delete deployment packages, and delete deployment package records.
Search for applications
Log on to the Classic Application Service console.
Click Application Publishing > Deployment package management to view the list of deployment packages for all applications.
In the search box in the upper-right corner of the page, enter the name of the application (not the alias or description), and then click the search icon.
Filter applications that have deployment packages
In the navigation pane on the left, click the Deployment package management menu.
Click the filter icon (
) next to the Number of Deployment Packages column. Select the Show only applications with deployment packages option, and then click the OK button to run the query.
Manage application deployment packages
The application deployment package details page displays detailed information about the application and its deployment packages. On this page, you can view application information, upload deployment packages, publish applications, and delete deployment packages and deployment package records.
View details
In the navigation pane on the left, click the Deployment package management menu.
On the Deployment package management page, click Manage in the row of the target application to go to its deployment package details page.
On the details page, you can view the application information, deployment packages, and deployment package records.
The application deployment package details page includes the following sections:
Application basic information section: This section displays basic information about the application, the Application details button, and the Publish and deploy button.
Basic application information includes the application name, alias, technology stack, owner, and description.
Click the Application details button to go to the Application Management page to view detailed information about the application.
Click the Publish and deploy button and select a deployment mode: Publish now or Advanced options.
Click Publish now to create a deployment order with the default configurations and execute the deployment.
Click Advanced options to open the deployment order creation page, where you can manually create the deployment order. For more information, see Application deployment.
Deployment packages and records section: This section lists the deployment packages and deployment records for the application, along with their corresponding operation buttons. You can click Deployment package or Deployment package record to switch between the lists. Both lists support a simple search by version number.
Upload a deployment package
The version number of an application deployment package must be unique within the workspace. If an upload fails, a deployment package is not created. However, a deployment package record for the failed attempt is generated.
In the navigation pane on the left, click the Deployment package management menu.
On the Deployment package management page, click Manage in the row of the target application to go to its deployment package details page.
Click the Upload deployment package button. The Add new version dialog box appears.
Set the following deployment package information:
Version number: Required. Ensure the version number is unique within the current workspace.
File: Upload the deployment package file. The file size cannot exceed 200 MB. In some workspaces, the file size limit is 300 MB.
Remarks: Optional. Enter remarks about the deployment package.
Publish an application
You can select a deployment package to quickly publish an application service. To publish a specific version of a deployment package, complete the following steps:
In the navigation pane on the left, click the Deployment package management menu.
On the Deployment package management page, click Manage in the row of the target application to go to its deployment package details page.
In the list, find the deployment package that you want to publish and click Publish in its row. The Publish and deploy dialog box appears.
Select one of the following deployment modes to publish the application service. To cancel the deployment, click Cancel.
Click Publish now to create a deployment order with the default configurations and execute the deployment.
Click Advanced options to open the deployment order creation page, where you can manually create the deployment order. For more information, see Application deployment.
Delete a deployment package
You can delete application deployment packages individually or in batches. To delete application deployment packages, complete the following steps:
In the navigation pane on the left, click the Deployment package management menu.
On the Deployment package management page, click Manage in the row of the target application to go to its deployment package details page.
In the list, find the deployment package that you want to delete and click Delete. A confirmation dialog box appears. To delete multiple packages at once, select the check boxes of the target packages and click Batch delete. The subsequent steps are the same for both single and batch deletions.
Click OK and enter the text message verification code to confirm the deletion. To cancel the operation, click Cancel.
