This topic describes the editions and features of Quick Audience when you purchase it as a standalone product. You can also purchase it in a bundle with related products. For more information, see Purchase Quick Audience with ADB 3.0.
To purchase Quick Audience as a standalone product, use your Alibaba Cloud account to go to the Quick Audience purchase page and select your desired specifications. For more information about the features, see the following sections.
Quick Audience fees are calculated based on the number of users, feature packages, and subscription duration. For more information, see Billing Guide.
Switching between new and old versions
The new version (V4) was released at the end of April 2022. We will maintain both the new version (V4) and the old version (V3) for a period of time.
During this period, the system directs you to a specific version based on the following rules after your purchase:
If you purchase Quick Audience for the first time after the new version is released, you are directed to the new version upon logon.
NoteIf you also purchase the Repurchase Prediction, Product Recommendation, or Omni-channel Insights features, we will enable the old version for you to use these features.
If you purchased Quick Audience before the new version was released, you are still directed to the old version by default. If you want to use the new version, contact us to enable it.
After the new version is enabled, see Log on to the new console for instructions on how to switch to it. The Migration Guide can help you quickly migrate to the new version.
Basic Features
After you purchase Quick Audience, you have access to the basic features. These features include User Insights, Analytics Dashboard, Data Bank Push, and a trial of the User Marketing features. The specific features are described in the following list:
Because new Quick Audience purchases provide direct access to the new version (V4), the following descriptions apply to the new version.
Data source integration: You can connect to one MaxCompute database as a computing source for data integration and one Hologres or AnalyticDB for MySQL 3.0 database as an analysis source for query and analysis.
NoteQuick Audience only provides the capability to connect to these data sources. You must purchase the data sources separately.
Data import: You can import and integrate your business data for analysis. This includes data such as user tags, user behaviors, statistical tables, order details, and order summaries.
Event reporting: You can ingest user event data from applications such as Quick Tracking and your own first-party applications. You can also synchronize user behavior events from the Membership Platform and Social Interaction modules. This reported event data can be used for Automated Marketing, or it can be stored and used as general user behavior data.
Marketing model management: You can generate AIPL (Awareness, Interest, Purchase, and Loyalty) models based on user behavior data and RFM (Recency, Frequency, and Monetary) models based on order details and order summary data.
User tag management: You can create custom preference, loyalty, and purchasing power tags based on user behavior data. You can also create user stage tags based on comprehensive data. This feature lets you manage these tags to understand the overall tag coverage and the user distribution for each tag value.
User 360: You can display user-related information in a centralized view to create user personas. It also provides a convenient tagging function to assist with lead tracking and after-sales follow-up.
User analysis: You can perform perspective analysis based on user tags (including user properties and custom tags), AIPL analytics and AIPL flow analytics based on AIPL models, and RFM analytics based on RFM models. This helps you quickly understand your current user base and supports operational decision-making. During the analysis, you can save audiences that are based on specific features as an audience group.
Audience management: You can quickly filter target audiences that meet specified conditions. This provides a basis for subsequent audience engagement applications. You can filter audiences based on user tags (including user properties and custom tags), AIPL models, RFM models, user behaviors, and metrics from statistical tables.
Audiences are your strategic consumer data assets. You can use audiences for planned User Marketing, Automated Marketing, Media Placement, Social Interaction, and more.
Audience analysis and push: You can perform further perspective analysis on audiences. You can push audiences to Data Bank, Damengpan, Alibaba Cloud Kafka, or open source Kafka. This capability enables integrated online and offline consumer analysis and online re-engagement, which improves the operational efficiency of your brand's omni-channel consumer strategy.
Self-service analysis: If you have purchased Quick BI Professional Edition, you can perform ad hoc analysis on audiences within Quick Audience. This lets you flexibly analyze audience data. You can create new audiences by selecting data in reports and compare the performance of different audiences on the same metric.
Analytics Dashboard: If you have purchased Quick BI Professional Edition, you can embed reports from Quick BI into Quick Audience. This helps you analyze and gain insights from marketing data. During the analysis, you can save the audiences that are represented by charts as an audience group.
Marketing Campaign: This feature covers the marketing planning and execution stages. It associates audiences, marketing tasks, and other elements involved in marketing campaigns to help you manage the entire lifecycle of your campaigns in a centralized location. You can embed relevant Quick BI Professional Edition reports into the campaign page for analysis.
Marketing channel trial: You can try out SMS marketing, email marketing, U-Oplus, Ocean Engine, and Tencent Ad. For each channel and instance, you can run a maximum of 100 tasks. This limit includes both successful and failed tasks. The U-Oplus channel does not have this limit.
User Marketing Feature Package
User Marketing provides the following features:
Reach Marketing:
SMS: Connects to Alibaba Cloud SMS Platform or third-party SMS platforms to send scheduled or instant text messages to audiences.
Mail: Connects to Alibaba Cloud DirectMail to send scheduled or instant emails to audiences.
WeChat: Connects to your own WeChat Official Account for content operations.
Push: Connects to Umeng U-Push to send scheduled or instant push notifications to audiences.
Douyin: Connects to your own Douyin account for content operations.
Webhook: Connects to your first-party systems, such as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, or third-party systems using webhooks to market to audiences.
Ad Marketing: You can push audiences to U-Oplus, Ocean Engine, Tencent Ad, and Baidu Marketing for subsequent advertising campaigns on these platforms.
Automated Marketing Feature Package
Automated Marketing provides the following features:
You can use a drag-and-drop canvas to create differentiated marketing strategies that the system executes automatically. An automated marketing flow consists of three parts:
Trigger Methods:
Target audience: A specified audience enters the flow. You can configure periodic or scheduled execution.
Behavioral event: When a user performs a specified behavioral event, they enter the flow. You can add conditions to limit properties and frequency. For example, you can configure the flow to be triggered after a user views a specific H5 page twice.
User behavioral event data is collected from the following sources:
Data is collected and reported to Quick Audience from your apps, mini programs, and web pages.
You can also use Quick Tracking to collect and report data from your apps, mini programs, and web pages.
If you purchase the Membership Platform Feature Package or the Social Interaction Feature Package, user behavioral event data from these modules is automatically synchronized to Automated Marketing.
Actions: You can configure actions such as sending text messages, emails, push notifications, and WeChat messages. Other available actions include pushing data to Kafka, using webhooks, applying tags, and creating audiences.
Flow Control:
You can make decisions, filter, or group users based on their behavioral events, tags, or the execution results of the previous marketing component. You can also randomly group users to apply targeted and differentiated marketing strategies to different groups.
You can use A/B testing to compare the effectiveness of different strategies. To achieve a single target event, you can create multiple strategies. The system randomly divides the participating users into groups and applies one strategy to each group. After a specified period, the system calculates the probability of achieving the target event for each group. The strategy with the highest probability is considered the winner.
You can control the waiting period or the end of the flow.
You must purchase the User Marketing Feature Package before you can purchase the Automated Marketing Feature Package.
Social Interaction Feature Package
Social Interaction provides the following features:
You can operate and manage your WeChat Official Account followers.
You can manage your online and offline customers. This includes viewing customer details and defining customer tags, stages, properties, and events.
You can configure coupons, promote them through various channels, and view coupon collection and usage data.
You can create various promotional activities, such as lucky draws, polls, live streams, and questionnaires.
You can create automated marketing campaigns that are based on conditions such as user events and special rules.
Follower tag data and behavioral data are sent back to Quick Audience. You can use this data for further tag-based perspective analysis or for audience selection.
After purchasing a one-year Social Interaction Feature Package, you can purchase the Social Interaction Standard Service Package. The standard service is an operational growth service. It includes up to 14 training hours per month covering the Product Academy (product features and usage tips) and the Growth Academy (user operations case studies, experience sharing, and operational template sharing).
The old version (V3) only supports the backflow of follower data to AnalyticDB for MySQL 3.0 and AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL data sources.
Intelligent Shopping Guide Feature Package
Intelligent Shopping Guide provides the following features:
The WeCom edition of Intelligent Shopping Guide is a customer management system designed for shopping guides at retail outlets. It is deeply integrated with WeCom, which allows shopping guides to use the system directly by logging on to the WeCom mini program without needing to download a separate app. The system helps stores better engage with customers through features such as daily operational reminders, shopping guide tasks, and coupon activities. It empowers shopping guides to follow up with customers, better understand their needs, and efficiently manage customer interactions, which helps businesses reduce costs and increase efficiency.
You must select the Social Interaction Feature Package before you can select the Intelligent Shopping Guide Feature Package.
Membership Hub Feature Package
Membership Hub provides the following features:
Membership Hub lets you set membership levels, member benefits, membership tasks, and membership marketing campaigns. You can also set rules for earning and using points. Members can earn growth points and reward points through membership tasks and marketing campaigns. Growth points are used to upgrade membership levels, and different levels can have different benefits. Members can use reward points to offset costs when purchasing products. This membership system provides various methods to help increase member activity and repurchase rates.
You must select the Social Interaction Feature Package before you can select the Membership Hub Feature Package.
Smart Retail Resource Package
Smart Retail provides the following features:
Smart Retail is an integrated, multi-channel retail solution for small and medium-sized retail chain brands. It is designed to help chain retailers achieve a new retail transformation. By creating an online e-commerce presence for retail chains, it creates synergy between online and offline channels to drive traffic. The solution also supports various business formats in the retail industry. It helps retail headquarters use big data analysis to inform upstream and downstream operations and provides data-driven support for product selection and inventory management at retail outlets. It also helps businesses identify new incremental markets through precision marketing.
You must select the Social Interaction Feature Package before you can select the Smart Retail Resource Package.
The Smart Retail Resource Package is purchased based on the number of orders. You can purchase it under the resource plan product type.
Media Placement Resource Package
Media Placement provides the following features:
You can purchase media traffic online or record offline media traffic purchases.
You can use the purchased traffic for ad placements.
You can view ad placement execution reports and ad audience analysis reports.
The Media Placement Resource Package is purchased in the form of a Media Resource Top-up Package and a Media Placement Top-up Package. For purchase methods and usage instructions, see Media Placement Resource Package Authorization and Purchase.
Because media resources are subject to change due to market conditions and media provider policies, we recommend that you promptly communicate with your customer business manager (CBM) about the available media resources to ensure uninterrupted service.
Media Backflow Resource Package
Media Backflow provides the following features:
Media Backflow supports the backflow of data such as impressions and clicks from ad monitoring (including Fun Media placement monitoring) and Tencent Ad Feedback. It provides multi-dimensional report analysis, which provides a data foundation for generating ad behavior tags.
Data flows back to the MaxCompute computing source. It can be further processed by Dataphin and then synchronized to an AnalyticDB for MySQL database for analysis and application in Quick Audience.
The Media Backflow Resource Package is purchased based on the volume of backflow data. For purchase methods, see Media Backflow Resource Package Authorization and Purchase.
After you use all the available data entries in your resource plan, the system stores any newly collected data in a staging area for up to 30 days. If you purchase a new resource plan within this period, the staged data is processed. Otherwise, the staged data is purged after 30 days. Brand High Potential Forecast (Repurchase Prediction) Resource Package
Repurchase Prediction provides the following features:
Based on past user purchase records, this feature trains an algorithm model to predict the likelihood of a user making a repurchase within a specified future period. This helps you identify high-potential users for targeted operations.
The new version (V4) does not currently support the Repurchase Prediction feature. If you purchase the Repurchase Prediction feature package, we will enable the old version (V3) for you to use this feature.
The Repurchase Prediction Resource Package is purchased based on the number of predictions. For purchase methods, see Repurchase Prediction Resource Package Authorization and Purchase.
Repurchase Prediction only supports analyzing data in AnalyticDB for MySQL 3.0 data sources.
Product Matching Recommendation (Product Recommendation) Resource Package
Product Recommendation provides the following features:
Based on past user purchase records, this feature trains an algorithm model to determine the associations between purchases of different products. It recommends other products that the user is likely to prefer to increase the repurchase rate.
The new version (V4) does not currently support the Product Recommendation feature. If you purchase the Product Recommendation feature package, we will enable the old version (V3) for you to use this feature.
The Product Recommendation Resource Package is purchased based on the number of predictions. For purchase methods, see Product Recommendation Resource Package Authorization and Purchase.
Product Recommendation only supports analyzing data in AnalyticDB for MySQL 3.0 data sources.
Omni-channel Insights Resource Package

Omni-channel Insights provides the following features:
Omni-channel tags: This feature matches and pre-configures a rich set of omni-channel tags for your existing users. These tags can be used for profile insights and audience segmentation.
Omni-channel analysis: This feature combines omni-channel tag capabilities to provide rich and flexible analysis of your existing users. It supports multi-dimensional and multi-format analysis methods for all users and segmented users, which satisfies the need of business personnel for a comprehensive understanding of users.
Audience management: This feature provides visual templates for audience filtering and management, which enables fine-grained management of existing users.
The new version (V4) does not currently support the Omni-channel Insights feature. If you purchase the Omni-channel Insights Resource Package, we will enable the old version (V3) for you to use this feature.

Billing Guide
The fee composition and billing methods for Quick Audience products, feature packages, and bundled products are shown in the table below.
Subscription purchase: You pay upfront for a product or service for a specified duration and can use it within the selected specifications.
The fee for a single item is calculated using the following formula: Unit Price for the Billable Item Specification × Subscription Duration. The total fee is the sum of all individual item fees. Discounts may be offered periodically.
