IoT Platform is an Alibaba Cloud IoT service for the smart living realm. The platform provides a complete set of configurable solutions for smart home appliances. These solutions cover device connection, mobile app control, device management, and data statistics. This significantly reduces development costs for the device-cloud-app model. This document describes how to log on to IoT Platform.
Prerequisites
You have registered an Alibaba Cloud account and completed identity verification. If you do not have an account, register one. For more information, see Alibaba Cloud Account Registration Process.
Procedure
- In a browser, go to the IoT Platform website.
Note Chrome is the recommended browser.
- Enter your Alibaba Cloud account and password, and click Log On.
- (Optional) If this is your first time logging on to IoT Platform, authorize the platform.
- In the Permission Authorization dialog box, click Confirm.
- On the Cloud Resource Access Authorization page, click Agree to Authorization.
- (Optional) On your first logon, you may also need to agree to the terms of service for the free trial and complete identity verification.
- On the Terms of Service for Free Trial page, click I Agree.
- (Optional) If you have not completed identity verification for your account, you are redirected to the identity verification page. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete identity verification.
After you complete identity verification, the IoT Platform homepage is displayed.
