This topic describes common issues that occur when you publish your site. This product runs in a browser, and some browsers may cause stuttering or limit certain features. 1. I have purchased a domain name. How do I resolve it and publish my site?
- If you purchased a product in the China (Hangzhou) region, you must complete the ICP filing process. After your ICP filing is approved, resolve your domain name. Once the domain name resolution is successful, click Publish to publish your site.
- If you purchased a product in the Hong Kong (China) region, you can resolve your domain name directly. After the domain name resolution is successful, click Publish to publish your site.
2. When I access my domain name, a message indicates that the site is not published. What should I do?
Log on to the Cloud Website Builder console and click Publish in the upper-right corner. After the site is published, access the domain name again. The site should now be accessible.
3. After my site is published and the domain name is resolved, can it be found by searching for my company name?
Search engine rankings depend on settings such as page SEO, Robots.txt, sitemap, Baidu Tongji, and site verification. It typically takes Baidu four to eight weeks to index a new site. Please wait for your site to be indexed.
4. Why can't I find my site on Baidu by searching for my company name after publishing?
Confirm that you have configured the SEO settings. If you have, it may take four to eight weeks for Baidu to index your site. If you have not, configure your site's promotion settings for page SEO, Robots.txt, sitemap, Baidu Tongji, and site verification.
5. How long does it take for my site to become active after I publish it?
Changes take effect immediately after you publish your site. If you still see the old content when you access your domain name, clear your browser cache and access the domain name again.
6. After publishing my site, I see the message "Sorry! The site you are visiting does not exist!" when I access the domain name. Why?
Domain name resolution can take some time to propagate. Verify that your domain name has been successfully resolved.
7. Do I need to publish each page individually?
No, you do not. When you click Publish, all pages are published at the same time. You do not need to publish each page separately.
8. If I publish the desktop version of my site, do I also need to publish the mobile version separately?
You do not need to publish the PC and mobile versions separately. Clicking Publish publishes both versions simultaneously.
9. Do I need to republish the site every time I update its content?
Yes, you do. After you update the site content, click Publish. Then, clear your browser cache and access your domain name to view the latest updates.
10. The page content appears as garbled text after I publish the site.
If the site displays garbled text, this is likely a browser cache issue. Clear your browser cache and then access the domain name again. The site should return to normal.
11. Can I still modify the site content after it is published?
Yes, you can. After you modify the site content, click Publish in the upper-right corner of the Cloud Website Builder console to apply your changes.

13. Does the site verification feature only support Baidu?
Multiple verification methods are available. To add code for multiple search engines, enter each code on a new line.
