Run an on-demand evaluation to immediately check resource compliance after modifying a rule or resource. Otherwise, Cloud Config updates evaluation results only when a resource configuration changes or at the next scheduled trigger.
Prerequisites
Ensure that the Status of the rule is Active.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Config console.
Optional. In the upper-left corner, select an account group.
This operation is required only if you are using a management account of a resource directory. Otherwise, you do not need to perform the operation.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

On the Rules page, find the desired rule. In the Actions column, click the
icon and then select Re-evaluate. -
In the List of rules to confirm the operation dialog box, click OK.
By default, the rule does not re-evaluate ignored resources.
To re-evaluate previously ignored resources, select the corresponding checkbox before clicking OK. After the re-evaluation, in the Compliance Result of Related Resources list, the available action for these resources in the Actions column changes from Revert Evaluation Result to Ignore Evaluation Result.
