User tag datasets support various management operations, such as search, edit, tag category management, user perspective analysis, update, push, push history, rename, move, remove, permission settings, and setting a dataset as the default. For manually uploaded user tag datasets, you can also view the upload results.

Note

If a user tag dataset name has the prefix `Custom Tag Dataset_User Identity Type_`, it is a custom tag dataset. For more information, see Manage custom tag datasets.

  • Edit: Click the 编辑 icon, or click the user tag dataset name to open the details page. Then, click Edit in the upper-right corner to modify the dataset.

On the dataset edit page, you can edit the tag alias, tag type, tag category, ID type, and tag description. You can also and specify whether the tag can be used for perspective analysis, as shown in the following figure.2

    Note
    • Multi-value tags can be used for perspective analysis if the number of unique values after splitting is 50 or less.

    • After you create a user tag dataset, the perspective analysis option is enabled by default for all eligible tags.

    • When you import tag categories, you can import the category structure and the category for each tag from a data table. For more information, see Import tag categories.

  • Tag category management: Click Tag Category Management in the upper-right corner to manage the public tag categories for the current workspace.

    • Click + next to a category to add a new one. To add a subcategory (level two or three), you must first select a parent category.

    • Click an existing category to show its subcategories. The 1 (edit) and 2 (delete) icons appear. You can click these icons to edit or delete the category.

    • Uncategorized is the default level-one category. When you delete a category, the tags in it are moved to the Uncategorized category.

  • User perspective analysis: Click the 分析 icon to perform a perspective analysis on the user tag dataset. For more information, see Perspective Analytics.

  • Click the 更多 icon to select an option, such as Update, Push, Push History, Rename, Move to, Remove, Permission settings, Set as default dataset, or Update settings.

    • Update: Sync the latest data from the data source with the dataset. For information about automatic periodic updates, see Update settings.

    • Push: Push the user tag dataset to Data Bank. For more information, see Pushing by tag type.

    • Push history: View the push history for the user tag dataset.

    • Rename: Change the name of the dataset.

    • Move to: Move the dataset to a specific folder.

    • Remove: Delete the dataset.

      Note

A dataset cannot be deleted if it was used to generate other datasets or audiences.

    • Permission settings: Grant management permissions, usage permissions, and row-level permissions for the dataset.

      Note

For more information about how to grant dataset permissions, see Dataset permission settings.

    • Set as default dataset: After you set a dataset as the default, it is displayed by default on the User Analysis and Audience Filter pages. In the dataset list, the 默认 icon appears next to the name of the default dataset.

      Note
      • If no default dataset is set, the system automatically selects the most recently created dataset as the default.

      • You can set only one default dataset for each dataset type. When you set a new default dataset, the previous one is automatically unset.

    • Update settings: Configure automatic updates. You can schedule updates at a specific time each day (up to two times) or every N hours within a specified time range, as shown in the following figure. After you configure automatic updates, the 更新 icon appears next to the update time in the dataset list.

      Note

To cancel a configured automatic update, select Do not update.

    • Upload result: For manually uploaded user tag datasets, you can view the number of successfully uploaded data rows.

As shown in the following figure, if data errors exist, click Download error data. The downloaded file lists the cause of each error. The file is retained for up to six months and can be downloaded during this period.
