Send WeChat messages that contain articles, text, images, audio, or video.
Go to Workspace > User Marketing > Reach Marketing > WeChat, and click Create Task in the upper-right corner.
Select the WeChat Official Account and set a name for the task. The task name does not affect the message content.
Set Article Type to Article, Text, Image, Audio, or Video.
For Article messages:
The following figure shows the configuration for an article message.
Template: By default, No Template is used. You can also select an existing template from the drop-down list. For more information, see Create a WeChat Template.
Article Title, Author, Article Body, and Thumbnail Summary:
If you do not use a template, edit these fields.
If you use a template, these fields are populated from the template. You can edit them after selecting the template.
After you set the Thumbnail Summary and Article Title, they appear above the article editing area, as shown in the following figure.
To send multiple articles, click the + icon to add an article. You can add up to 8 articles.
Click an article's thumbnail to display its content in the editing area. You can then edit the article.
You can change the order of the articles. Move the mouse pointer over an article's thumbnail. An
icon appears in the upper-left corner. Click the icon to swap the article with an adjacent one. The first article's thumbnail and title are displayed differently from the others. Refer to the content preview on the right side of the page. After you reorder the articles, make sure to reset the thumbnail.Move the mouse pointer over an article's thumbnail. An
icon appears in the upper-right corner. Click the icon and confirm the deletion to remove the article.
Original Link: If you add a link, users who click Read more at the end of the article are redirected to that link.
For Text, Image, Audio, or Video messages:
Enter the text to send, or upload the image, audio, or video to send and add a description.
Images must be in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.
Audio files must be in MP3 format, smaller than 2 MB, and shorter than 60 seconds.
Video files must be in MP4 format and 10 MB or smaller.
Select the Recipients. By default, the message is sent to all followers of the Official Account. You can also choose to send the message only to followers in a specific tag group.
Configure Scheduled Send to send the message at a specific time.
(Optional) Click Mobile Preview. In the dialog box that appears, enter the WeChat ID of the preview recipient and click OK. The recipient must be a follower of the Official Account. The recipient receives a preview message that is used only to check the article's appearance. The link in the preview expires in a short period and cannot be shared.
Click Submit Send Task to save the task.
