Before you can use User Marketing, you must authorize your channel accounts in Quick Audience. This process grants Quick Audience permission to access each channel.

  • Data Bank: Authorization is completed in Quick Audience and requires approval.

  • Baidu Marketing: Authorization is completed directly in Quick Audience.

  • UMeng PUSH, Damengpan, U-Oplus, Ocean Engine, Tencent Ad, WeChat Official Account, and Douyin: You are redirected to the respective channel to complete the authorization.

Data Bank account authorization

You can authorize Data Bank accounts in Quick Audience. The process is as follows:

  1. Submit an account authorization request.

  2. An organization administrator or workspace administrator approves the request. The authorization is complete after the request is approved.

Procedure:

  1. Go to Workspace Management > Configuration Management > Marketing Configuration > Account Management, and click Authorize Account.

  2. From the Account Type drop-down list, select Data Bank.

  3. Click OK. In the dialog box that appears, enter the brand owner name, brand name, account, and token for Data Bank. For more information about how to retrieve these parameters, see Obtain Data Bank Token.

  4. Click Submit Request. The account is added to the authorized account list with the status Pending Approval.

    If the request is approved, the status changes to Authorization Successful. Otherwise, the status changes to Approval Denied.

    Note
    • Authorization requests are approved by organization administrators or workspace administrators. For more information about the approval operation, see Pending My Approval.

    • The requester can check the request status in Message Hub > My Requests. You can also cancel the request. For more information, see My Requests.

Baidu Marketing account authorization

You can authorize Baidu Marketing accounts directly in Quick Audience.

Procedure:

  1. Go to Workspace Management > Configuration Management > Marketing Configuration > Account Management, and click Authorize Account.

  2. From the Account Type drop-down list, select Baidu Marketing.

  3. Click OK. In the dialog box that appears, enter the account, password, and permission code for Baidu Marketing.

  4. Click OK to complete the authorization. The account is added to the authorized account list with the status Authorization Successful.百度

Authorize accounts by redirecting to the channel page

For UMeng PUSH, Damengpan, U-Oplus, Ocean Engine, Tencent Ad, WeChat Official Account, and Douyin, you are redirected to the respective channel's page to authorize your account.

Important
  • For WeChat Official Account, you must verify your account on the WeChat platform to use the User Marketing features.

  • For Tencent Ad, authorization may fail if you use a WeChat account in the following situations. Use a QQ account for authorization instead.

    • WeChat Enterprise Official Account authorization is not enabled.

    • You registered for Tencent Ad with a QQ account and later linked a WeChat account.

  • For Damengpan, when you are redirected, log on with your main Taobao account. Then, link the stores and brands under that account. For more information, see Bind Damengpan.

Procedure:

  1. Go to Workspace Management > Configuration Management > Marketing Configuration > Account Management, and click Authorize Account.

  2. From the Account Type drop-down list, select the channel that you want to authorize.427

  3. Click OK. You are redirected to the channel's page to log on and complete the authorization. If the page does not open, check if your browser is blocking pop-up windows.

  4. After you complete the authorization, return to Quick Audience. In the dialog box that appears, click Authorization Successful. The system retrieves the account authorization information and adds the account to the list of authorized accounts. If the authorization failed, click Authorization Failed to try again.弹窗

Account Management

After you authorize an account, you can perform management operations, such as re-authorization and deletion. The following figure shows these options.

  • Re-authorize: If the account status is Authorization Abnormal, you cannot use related features. Click Re-authorize to authorize the account again. The steps are the same as the initial authorization.

  • Delete: If an account is no longer in use, click Delete and confirm the operation to revoke the account's authorization. Data that was retrieved using this account is not deleted.

Note

The re-authorization and deletion features are not available for Data Bank accounts. The re-authorization feature is not available for Damengpan accounts.

FAQ

Does every user who needs to use a channel for marketing have to link their account?

A: Yes, they do. Each user must link their account for each workspace they use. A single linked account cannot be shared among different users. Only an administrator can use accounts that are linked by other users.
