Create a marketing unit

A marketing unit groups multiple campaigns under the same subject. You can create a marketing unit to organize and manage related campaigns.

Procedure

Log on to the mPaaS console, select the target application, and perform the following steps:

  1. In the left navigation pane, click Intelligent Delivery > Campaign Management. The Campaign Management page appears.

  2. Click the Create Marketing Unit button. The Create Marketing Unit dialog box appears.

    In the dialog box, configure the marketing unit information:

    • Activity Unit Name (Required): Enter a unique name of up to 30 characters.

    • Conversion Rate Metric (Optional): Select a Mobile Analysis (MAS) event to associate with the activity. When this event occurs, the activity goal is achieved and a conversion is completed. If you do not select an event, the conversion rate is calculated as follows: Number of devices that clicked / Number of devices with impressions.

      For example, if you associate a logon event with a marketing unit for a Double 11 promotion, the goal of the marketing unit is met when a logon event occurs on the client.

  3. Click OK to save the marketing unit information.

    After the marketing unit is created, the Select Campaign Type dialog box appears, and you can create a campaign immediately. For more information, see Create a campaign.
