Audience Management is a feature of the intelligent delivery component that lets you define precise target audiences for your campaigns and reuse them across different marketing campaigns. Create a target audience before you create a campaign, and then select it during campaign setup.

You can create audiences based on user IDs or device IDs.

  • User ID: Campaigns are delivered to the user IDs (userId) in the audience. When a user logs on to the app, the campaign content, such as an ad space, material, or push notification, is displayed based on the campaign configuration. If the same user ID is used to log on to different devices, the content is displayed on all of them.

  • Device ID: Campaigns are delivered to the device IDs (utdid) in the audience. When the app is opened on a targeted device, the campaign content, such as an ad space, material, or push notification, is displayed.

You can add users to an audience in two ways:

  • Add directly: Enter user or device IDs on the page, separated by commas (,) or line feeds. Each ID must be less than 100 characters. IDs that exceed this limit are not added.

  • Import from a file: Upload a .txt file that contains user or device IDs, with each ID on a separate line. Each ID must be less than 100 characters. IDs that exceed this limit are not imported. The file must be 50 MB or smaller. The system automatically removes duplicate IDs during import.
