Resource instance types

The Cloud Gaming Platform is sold as cloud game cluster instances. A cloud game cluster is a collection of cloud resources that runs game clients and streams game graphics to user clients. Each cloud game cluster contains multiple containers. A container is a unit that can provide cloud gaming services to only one online client at a time. A cluster instance has the following properties:

• Region: The platform is available in four regions: North China, East China, Southwest China, and South China.
• Compute type: Enhanced. This compute type uses commercial NVIDIA Tesla T4 graphics cards.
• Image quality: Two quality levels are available: Ultra HD (1080p resolution, 30 fps, 8 Mbps bitrate) and High Definition (720p resolution, 30 fps, 5 Mbps bitrate).
  Note The specified bitrate is the upper limit for the video stream. The actual bitrate is dynamically adjusted during runtime based on the client's network conditions to prioritize smoothness.
• Specifications: There are 12 instance types, categorized by image quality. The instance type name starts with the prefix `games1` to indicate the Enhanced compute type. The name ends with a suffix of `fhd` for Ultra HD or `hd` for High Definition. The six Ultra HD instance types are games1.7.fhd, games1.10.fhd, games1.15.fhd, games1.25.fhd, games1.50.fhd, and games1.100.fhd. The six High Definition instance types are games1.7.hd, games1.10.hd, games1.15.hd, games1.25.hd, games1.50.hd, and games1.100.hd. Each instance type has a different unit price and supports games with different resource requirements.

• Subscription duration: You can subscribe on a monthly or yearly basis. The minimum subscription duration is 1 month and the maximum is 3 years.
• Number of containers: This is the number of clients that can be supported concurrently, also known as the number of concurrent ingest endpoints.
