This user guide describes the features of the Cloud Game Platform and how to use the console.

  • The console provides a unified interface that you can use to upload, deploy, configure, and manage your games.

  • The SDK is a client SDK that you can use to connect to the Alibaba Cloud Game Platform and quickly build your cloud game application.

User workflow

  1. Apply for the public preview. For more information, see the Public preview application topic.

  2. Manage games: Create games, upload games, and start adaptation. For more information, see the Game management topic.

  3. Deploy and schedule: Create a project as described in the Project management topic. Purchase an instance and associate it with the project as described in the Instance management topic. Deploy the game and create an application as described in the Project management topic. Manage the game deployment as described in Deployment management. Configure concurrency and set the scheduling level for deployed and activated games as described in Scheduling management.

  4. Develop a cloud game app. For more information, see the SDK Reference.

The Cloud Game Platform console also supports various management features, such as creating, retrieving, updating, and deleting resources. For detailed instructions, see the documents linked above.

Console overview

  • Game management: This feature lets you create and upload games, configure game content, and manage game versions.

  • Deployment & Scheduling: This feature consists of four sections: project management, instance management, deployment management, and scheduling management.

    • Project management: This feature lets you create game projects, deploy games, and create applications based on your business plan. You can also use it to plan resources for client access and obtain account access permissions.

    • Instance management: On this page, you can create and renew resources, such as instances.

    • Deployment management: This feature lets you manage game deployments within a project. After you purchase an instance for a project, you can immediately deploy games to it.

    • Scheduling management: This feature lets you configure concurrency and set scheduling levels for deployed and activated games. This helps meet the scheduling requirements for different scenarios.

  • Policy management: This feature provides policies for game trials, instant game launch, reconnection after a disconnect, and automatic updates.

  • Data reports: This feature provides core data for your games and projects, such as the number of game launches, high concurrency, and latency. You can use this data for your business planning.
