1. Service overview
This service inspects your cloud assets and application architecture to proactively identify potential risks and provide optimization recommendations based on your business needs.
2. Service scope
- The service scope includes:
- Technical guidance for operational or system issues related to Alibaba Cloud resources.
- Technical guidance for operations or system issues related to Alibaba Cloud resources.
- Issues related to the Alibaba Cloud console or other official Alibaba Cloud tools.
- The service scope does not include:
- Code development.
- Daily Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for third-party software, such as installation, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Note: For issues with third-party software that are outside the scope of Stabilization Services (Architecture Optimization), you can log on to the Alibaba Cloud community for free consultation or contact Alibaba Cloud Marketplace vendors for help.
3. Prerequisites
- Request this service at least 10 business days in advance. This allows Alibaba Cloud to assess the feasibility of your business objectives and timeline, and confirm whether to accept the service request.
- If your request involves many resources, request the service one month in advance. The specific timeline is subject to negotiation based on a supply chain assessment.
- After Alibaba Cloud accepts the service request, provide the site, devices, necessary non-production environments, remote access channels, and permissions. Also, define clear business objectives, such as peak traffic and concurrency, to help Alibaba Cloud deliver the service.
- Review the project implementation plan from Alibaba Cloud and confirm it in writing, such as by email. Do not reject confirmed technical recommendations or solutions without a valid technical reason. This ensures that the service objectives are met promptly.
- Execute the optimization solutions at the agreed-upon time.
- As the primary O&M entity, you are responsible for your own business-related O&M tasks.
3.1 Division of responsibilities
3.1.1 Customer and Alibaba Cloud
- The customer purchases Stabilization Services (Architecture Optimization).
- Both parties agree on and confirm the specific business objectives and scope for the service.
3.1.2 Customer
- Defines business objectives, such as peak traffic and concurrency.
- Provides the site, devices, necessary non-production environments, remote access channels, and permissions to help Alibaba Cloud deliver the service.
- Works with Alibaba Cloud to investigate existing system issues and participates in plan implementation, such as capacity stress testing and issue identification.
- Reviews the implementation plan from Alibaba Cloud and confirms it in writing or by email. Does not reject the technical recommendations or solutions from Alibaba Cloud without a valid technical reason.
- Executes the specific optimization solutions.
- Acts as the primary O&M entity and is responsible for related O&M tasks.
- Grants Alibaba Cloud permission to monitor and analyze security events 24/7.
3.1.3 Alibaba Cloud
- Organizes the project and establishes an expert team for solution implementation.
- Understands the customer's business objectives and scope, creates an implementation plan, and obtains written confirmation from the customer, such as by email.
- Provides the services specified in this statement of work, such as assessing business objectives, stress testing, and architecture. Provides feasible recommendations to ensure that system metrics meet business stability requirements.
3.1.4 Completion criteria
- Submission of the "Architecture Optimization Service Acceptance Report". This report contains recommendations and solutions based on resource diagnostics, stress testing, and architecture analysis. It also details issues found during implementation and their corresponding solutions.
3.2 Service items
Service content: Based on your business objectives, Alibaba Cloud provides the following services:

| Security hardening | Provide security hardening recommendations based on your business security needs.
Provide a security solution and help you configure the architecture of security products. |
| Drills and verification | Conduct drills based on your business objectives to verify the transformation. |
| Architecture optimization implementation report | Provide daily reports on issues and implementation progress during the solution implementation period. |
4. Service SLA
A technical manager responsible for Stabilization Services and architecture optimization.
This service provides the Architecture Optimization Service Work Plan and the Architecture Optimization Service Acceptance Report.
5. Service flow
Submit your request at least 10 business days before the service is scheduled to start.
6. Acceptance criteria
The service is considered accepted when Alibaba Cloud provides the following deliverables:
- Alibaba Cloud delivers the "Architecture Optimization Work Plan" and the "Architecture Optimization Report", and receives your written confirmation, such as by email.
- The "Architecture Optimization Work Plan" and "Architecture Optimization Report" include the following:
- A review of your application system resources and architecture conducted by Alibaba Cloud before the service begins.
- Solution recommendations for your application system from Alibaba Cloud, based on your business characteristics and needs.
7. Completion sign-off
The customer acceptance phase is complete.
