You can perform various operations on custom tag datasets, such as search, edit, tag category management, user perspective analytics, update, push, push history, rename, move, remove, permission settings, and setting a dataset as the default.
The name of a custom tag dataset has a fixed prefix: custom_tag_dataset_user_identity_type_. This is a special type of user tag dataset. It is a collection of custom tags that have the same user identity type, originate from the same data source, and were created by the same user. For more information, see Custom Tags.
Edit: Click the
icon to open the dataset edit page. Alternatively, you can click the custom tag dataset name to open its details page, and then click Edit in the upper-right corner.On the dataset edit page, you can edit the tag alias, tag category, ID value, and tag description. You can also enable perspective analytics for the dataset and remove tags from it.
Click the Edit
icon to open the tag value editing interface. The operations are the same as those for creating a tag. For more information, see Custom Tags.Click the Delete
icon next to a field name. After you confirm, the field is removed from the custom tag dataset. Audiences generated from this custom tag cannot be updated.
Update: This operation synchronizes the latest data from the data source to the dataset. You can update the entire custom tag dataset or update only specific custom tags. You cannot perform both operations at the same time.
To update the entire custom tag dataset, click the
icon and select Update.To update specific custom tags, click the name of the custom tag dataset to open its details page.
Click Batch Update. Then, select the custom tags that you want to update and click Update.
NoteYou cannot select user identities or custom tags that are currently being updated.
NoteIf you set an update concurrency limit for the workspace in the Management Center, batch updates for custom tags that exceed this limit are queued. For more information about how to set the concurrency, see Space System Settings.
Tag category management: Click Tag Category Management in the upper-right corner of the page to manage public tag categories in the current workspace. For more information, see the tag category management section in Manage user tag datasets.
User perspective analytics: Click the
icon to perform perspective analytics on the custom tag dataset. For more information, see Perspective Analytics.
Click the
icon to select Push, Push History, Rename, Move to, Remove, or Permission Settings, or Set as Default Dataset. For more information, see Manage user tag datasets.
