Real-time Monitoring Service (RMS) supports joint alerting based on the monitoring of both application metrics and custom metrics. RMS allows notification groups to subscribe to specified alert rules. Then, alert notifications can be sent in the form of DingTalk messages, text messages, or phone calls. Besides, RMS allows you to view the details of generated alerts in the Alert History module. It also links alert data to monitoring data. This way, O&M engineers can identify anomalous monitoring data records based on alert data for better and quicker troubleshooting.
RMS supports the following types of data as the alert trigger condition:
Currently monitored metric data
Period-on-period comparison
Same-period-last-day comparison
Same-period-last-week comparison
Sum for the last N minutes
Average for the last N minutes
Comparison between the sum for the last N minutes and the sum for the same period in the last detection cycle
Comparison between the sum for the last N minutes and the sum for the same period last day
