The Analytics Dashboard embeds reports from Alibaba Cloud Quick BI into Quick Audience. You can use these reports to perform visual analytics on your data and gain insights into your marketing performance.
When analyzing reports, you can select data from charts to group users into an audience. Quick Audience adds the generated audience to the User Insights module for management. You can use this audience for marketing placements and pushes. This process helps marketers complete a closed-loop workflow: plan, analyze, create an audience, engage, review, and refine the audience.
A Quick BI Standard subscription is required. You must also create and publish reports in Quick BI. For more information about how to purchase and use Quick BI, see the Quick BI User Guide.
The feature to create audiences by selecting data is supported only when the data source for the Quick BI report is also a data source used by the Quick Audience workspace. This includes organization data sources and workspace data sources.
The term "report" in the Quick Audience interface and documentation corresponds to "dashboard" in the Quick BI interface and documentation. A report contains multiple data charts and controls, such as query controls, which are displayed in a configured layout.
Permissions
Quick Audience organization administrators, workspace administrators, and members of custom roles with the "User Insights - Analytics Dashboard - Custom Menu" permission can create menus and embed reports.
Organization administrators, workspace administrators, developers, analysts, and members of custom roles with the "User Insights - Analytics Dashboard - Business Insight" permission can view report menus. However, only the menu creator, authorized accounts, organization administrators, and workspace administrators can view the reports embedded in a menu and manage that menu. To create an audience from a report, the user's role must also have the "User Insights - Audience Insight - Audience Management - View" permission.
Workflow
A Quick Audience organization administrator configures the Quick BI authorization. For more information, see Quick BI Authorization Configuration.
Configure the following settings in Quick BI. For more information, see Quick BI Embedding Configuration.
The Quick BI administrator configures the embedding channel to embed reports into Quick Audience.
A Quick BI workspace member enables embedding for the required reports.
To enable audience creation from reports, a Quick BI workspace member enables the audience generation option for the report. For each chart, they also set the ID field that is exported to Quick Audience when an audience is created.
(Optional) A Quick BI workspace member configures the report embedding settings to specify the workspace and menu for the embedded report.
The Quick Audience organization administrator grants permissions to each workspace for reports that have embedding enabled. For more information, see Report Authorization.
In a Quick Audience workspace, you can customize the report display menu, embed reports into it, and grant viewing permissions to specified accounts. For more information, see Menu Configuration and Report Embedding.
Authorized Quick Audience accounts can view reports in the workspace and create audiences from them. For more information, see View Reports.
