Manage alert rules

On the Alert Rules page, you can create new alert rules. You can also view, modify, enable, disable, and delete existing rules.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the OceanBase Management Console .

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Instance List.

  3. On the cluster console page, click Performance Monitoring in the navigation pane on the left.

  4. On the Performance Monitoring page, click Alert Rules in the upper-right corner.

  5. On the Alert Rules page, you can create alert rules, query for existing rules, and view their information.

Modify an alert rule

  1. On the Alert Rules page, find the target alert rule and click Modify in the Actions column.

  2. In the Create Alert Rule panel, modify the alert rule parameters.

  3. Click Confirm.

Disable alert rules

  • Disable a single rule

    1. Click the More icon in the Actions column for the target alert rule, and then click Disable.

    2. In the Disable Alert Rule Confirmation dialog box, click OK.

  • Disable rules in batches

    1. Select the check boxes for the alert rules that you want to disable, and then click Disable in the lower-left corner.

    2. In the Disable Alert Rule Confirmation dialog box, click OK.

Enable alert rules

  • Enable a single rule

    1. Click the More icon in the Actions column for the target alert rule, and then click Enable.

    2. In the Enable Alert Rule Confirmation dialog box, click OK.

  • Enable rules in batches

    1. Select the check boxes for the alert rules that you want to enable, and then click Enable in the lower-left corner.

    2. In the Enable Alert Rule Confirmation dialog box, click OK.

Delete alert rules

  • Delete a single rule

    1. Click the More icon in the Actions column for the target alert rule, and then click Delete.

    2. In the Delete Alert Confirmation dialog box, click OK.

  • Delete rules in batches

    1. Select the check boxes for the alert rules that you want to delete, and then click Delete in the lower-left corner.

    2. In the Delete Alert Confirmation dialog box, click OK.

View alert history

  1. Find the target alert rule and click Alert History in the Actions column.

  2. View the rule's Details, Alert Contact Group, Alert History, and Alert Resources.
