Cross-VPC access is primarily for SaaS businesses. If your services are in different VPCs, you may need to access an instance in a dedicated cluster from another VPC. This topic explains how to configure cross-VPC access for instances within the same account.
Prerequisites
Cross-VPC access is supported only within the same account.Procedure
- Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
- In the upper-left corner of the page, select the target region.
- In the Actions column for the target dedicated cluster, click Details.
- In the left-side navigation pane, under Instance List, click the target instance ID.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connection, and then click the Instance Connection tab.
- In the Authorized VPC link section, select an Authorized VPC and a vSwitch, and then click New.
Note
- Only database instances in a dedicated cluster have the Authorized VPC link section.
- If you bind the instance to an incorrect VPC, click Delete to remove the link.
