Configure Alibaba Cloud SMS and email APIs

Procedure

1. Click the icon in the upper-right corner of the page and select Organization Management > API Management.

2. In the Alibaba Cloud SMS Settings section, click Edit. Enter the accessKeyId, accessKeySecret, and the MNS queue name for status reports. To receive mobile originated messages, enable the Receive Mobile Originated Messages switch, enter the MNS queue name for mobile originated messages, and select a data source for them. Click Save to complete the configuration.

   • accessKeyId and accessKeySecret: Log on with the account that you use for Alibaba Cloud Short Message Service. Click Get Parameters. You are redirected to a page where you can obtain the credentials. For more information, see Obtain an AccessKey.

   • MNS queue name for status reports and MNS queue name for mobile originated messages: Log on with the root account that has Alibaba Cloud Short Message Service activated. Click Access Here. You are redirected to the page where you can obtain the queue names, as shown in the following figure.

   • Data source for mobile originated messages: This data source stores the mobile originated messages that you receive. This feature supports only organization data sources of the ADB 3.0 and ADB PG types.

   • Enable SMS Official Account: After you configure the Alibaba Cloud SMS API, you can request to enable the SMS Official Account feature. You can do this regardless of whether you enable receiving mobile originated messages. For more information, see Enable an SMS Official Account.

3. In the Alibaba Cloud Email Settings section, click Edit. Enter the accessKeyId and accessKeySecret. Click Save to complete the configuration.
