Delete clusters that you no longer need to avoid unnecessary charges. This topic describes how to delete a cluster.
Detaching a cluster does not delete it. This operation only removes the cluster's association with the current workspace.
You can reuse a detached cluster by importing it. For more information, see Import an ACK cluster.
Prerequisites
Cluster deletion protection is disabled.
Procedure
Log on to the ACK console. In the navigation pane on the left, click Clusters.
On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to delete and click More > Delete in the Actions column.
In the Delete Cluster dialog box, select I understand the information and want to delete the cluster, and then click OK.

Disable cluster deletion protection
On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and click More > Disable Deletion Protection in the Actions column.
In the dialog box that appears, turn off Cluster Deletion Protection and click OK.
