The Real-Time Communication (RTC) console lets you manage service authorizations. This topic describes how to grant permissions for RTC to access other Alibaba Cloud services.
Background information
Real-Time Communication (RTC) needs to access other Alibaba Cloud services for certain features. To enable these features, you must grant the required access permissions using a service-linked role. An RTC service-linked role is required in the following scenarios:
Access resources in Simple Message Queue (formerly MNS) to transfer data between components.
Access resources in ApsaraVideo Live for the bypass streaming feature.
Access resources in Object Storage Service (OSS) for the cloud recording feature.
Procedure
- Log on to the Real-Time Communication RTC console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Service Authorization Management.
Click One-click Authorization.
Click OK to complete the authorization.
What to do next
