If an instance reaches its connection limit or experiences performance issues, you can restart it manually.
Impact
Restarting an instance causes a service interruption that lasts for approximately 30 seconds. Plan your business operations accordingly and proceed with caution.
Procedure
- Log in to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
- In the upper-left corner of the page, select the target region.
- In the Actions column for the target dedicated cluster, click Details.
- In the navigation pane on the left, click Instances.
- In the Actions column for the target instance, choose .
- In the dialog box that appears, configure the following parameters.
Parameter Description Restart Method - Restart Now: Restarts the instance immediately.
- Restart During Maintenance Window: Restarts the instance after all primary instances on the current host fail over to secondary instances on other hosts. This method prevents service interruptions.
- Restart at a Specified Time: Restarts the instance at a specified date and time.
- Click OK.
Note The instance may take a few moments to start as its storage resources are migrated.
