You can recreate a secondary instance if it becomes unhealthy on its host in an ApsaraDB for MyBase dedicated cluster, or if you want to migrate the instance to a different host.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the target region.

  3. In the navigation pane on the left, click Clusters. Find the target dedicated cluster and click Details in the Actions column.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, click Instances.

  5. Find the target instance and click Recreate Secondary Instance in the Actions column.

  6. (Optional) Turn on the Enable Host switch. Next to Specified Host, click Click to Select, select the target host, and click OK.

    Note

If you do not turn on the Enable Host switch, the system recreates the secondary instance by performing the following actions in order:

    • The system first attempts to recreate the secondary instance on its original host.

    • If the original host is unavailable, the system selects a different host within the dedicated cluster, other than the host of the primary instance.

    • If no eligible host is found or available hosts lack sufficient space, the recreation fails. The system then prompts you to add a host or expand storage capacity.
