Cloud-native microservice administration service description
1. Service overview
This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the services that Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. (Alibaba Cloud) will provide to XXXX (the customer) for the Cloud-Native Microservice Administration Project (this project).
This SOW defines the Service Catalog, scope of service, division of work, and responsibilities for both parties. It governs the actions of both parties during the service period.
2. Scope of service
Using Alibaba Cloud's best practices for cloud-native and microservices, we assess your business needs, cloud platform, and application architecture. We then provide a cloud-native microservice assessment report and an administration plan. The Alibaba Cloud service team offers dedicated support to help you quickly implement the plan. This service upgrades and governs your cloud-native microservice architecture. It improves the high availability (HA), stability, and predictability of your core business systems while controlling costs. This helps you obtain the most value from cloud computing.
The services for this project include the following:
Standard Edition service package: Investigate and assess one of your core business systems. Provide an administration plan. Help you quickly implement the plan and go live. Optimize your business system's cloud-native microservice architecture to improve stability.
Premium Edition service package: Investigate and assess one of your core business systems. Provide an administration plan. Help you quickly implement the plan and go live. Optimize your business system's cloud-native microservice architecture to improve stability. Improve your business system's end-to-end canary release, publishing efficiency, and observability.
Ultimate Edition service package: Investigate and assess one of your core business systems. Provide an administration plan. Help you quickly implement the plan and go live. Optimize your business system's cloud-native microservice architecture to improve stability. Improve your business system's end-to-end canary release, publishing efficiency, and observability. Simulate complex business scenarios and high-concurrency traffic for end-to-end stress testing and traffic protection. Optimize system capacity and performance to ensure HA.
Note: Party B provides Party A with technical solutions and assists Party A with implementing specific actions.
The following are not included in the service for this project:
Any work not explicitly defined in the scope of service.
Work involving the installation, testing, troubleshooting, or optimization of third-party software or systems.
3. Prerequisites
You must request this service at least 10 business days in advance. This allows Alibaba Cloud to assess the feasibility of your requirements and confirm whether to accept the service request.
You must provide the necessary office facilities at the start of the project. These facilities include desks, chairs, restrooms, power outlets, and network cables. The office environment must be free of harmful pollutants. For outdoor environments, you must provide protection against severe weather and ensure the personal safety of Alibaba Cloud personnel.
The working language for all project records and documents is Chinese. Documents are provided as needed. Electronic documents are delivered in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Project format.
You must use the communication methods agreed upon by both parties during the project. These methods include DingTalk, the Internet, fax, email, and paper documents.
After Alibaba Cloud accepts the service, you must provide the necessary time for research. You must also provide system access, permissions, authorization, and assistance to help Alibaba Cloud carry out the project.
You must grant authorization to Alibaba Cloud service personnel to monitor, inspect, and analyze your cloud resources and applications.

The cloud-native microservice administration service includes three package types. You can select one as needed. For non-standard scenarios, you must communicate your requirements during the pre-sales phase for evaluation by Alibaba Cloud personnel.
You must appoint a contact person to assist Alibaba Cloud personnel with the Cloud-Native Microservice Administration Project. This contact person is responsible for coordinating between your internal business departments, managing personnel coordination for the entire project, and handling plan confirmation, implementation, and final acceptance.
5. Service flow
You must submit a service purchase request at least 10 business days before the service starts.

6. Customer responsibilities
You must appoint a project owner to help Alibaba Cloud execute this service smoothly. This owner is responsible for coordination and management between both parties. For example, if Alibaba Cloud needs to research business systems, your project owner must coordinate the participation of relevant personnel. The owner is also responsible for reviewing and accepting Alibaba Cloud's services.
During the project, you must arrange for relevant business personnel to participate in research, meetings, and reviews as planned. You must also provide the project team with current business information and expected goals.
During the project, you must arrange for relevant technical personnel from requirements, design, development, operations and maintenance (O&M), and management to participate as planned. You must also provide the project team with accurate and appropriate technical information and expected goals.
During the project, you must arrange for relevant supervisors or decision-makers to participate in major meetings and milestones as planned. This ensures they stay informed of project progress and help resolve issues promptly and effectively.
During the project, you must coordinate the participation of other resources as planned and provide the project team with accurate and appropriate status information and expected goals.
8. Acceptance criteria
After the project goals and service content confirmed at the kickoff meeting are completed, the project acceptance process can begin. Alibaba Cloud will submit the following project reports to you:

After the project reports are submitted, you must confirm the plan within 5 business days. If there are no objections, both parties will sign the Project Acceptance Report.
Signing the Project Acceptance Report signifies the completion of project acceptance.
9. Completion flag
When acceptance is passed and the Project Acceptance Report is signed, the work for the Cloud-Native Microservice Administration Project is complete.
