Tracking configuration deployment platform

The tracking configuration consists of four parts: auto-tracking point control, event sample rate settings, log sending restrictions (app only), and blacklist user configuration.

Auto-tracking configuration

image

  1. Disable online configuration: By default, online configuration has the highest priority. If online configuration conflicts with API settings, data is collected based on the online configuration. For example, if you use the API to disable auto-tracking collection on the terminal but the online configuration enables it, auto-tracking events are still collected. If you select "Disable Online Configuration", the online configuration is cleared and all settings follow the API.

  2. Auto-tracking collection: Specifies whether the terminal collects auto-tracking point events. Blocks 3, 4, and 5 below are displayed only when you select Collection.

  3. Collect Pages: When enabled, page browsing events are automatically collected. When disabled, page browsing events are not collected.

  4. Collect control clicks: When enabled, click events of auto-tracking controls are collected. When disabled, click events of auto-tracking controls are not collected.

  5. Control types to exclude from collection: When auto-tracking control click collection is enabled, you can select specific control types to exclude. Selected controls will not be tracked.

Note: These settings only affect auto-tracking events. Manually tracked page or click events are not affected.

Event sample rate settings

image

  1. Select the events for which you want to set a sample rate. After selection, you can configure the sample rate for all selected events at once.

  2. A maximum of 200 events can be selected per sample rate configuration, and up to 5 sample rates can be set per configuration.

  3. Each event can only have one sample rate. If an event already has a sample rate assigned, click "Reset" to reassign it. The previous sample rate becomes invalid.

Limits on log sending

The default log sending interval on the app is 3s. You can adjust it within the range of 3s to 90s.

Blacklist user configuration
