Guide to the free trial of a cluster instance

Procedure

1. Log on to the official OceanBase website and click Free Trial.

2. Log on to your Alibaba Cloud account. If you do not have an Alibaba Cloud account, follow the prompts to register one.

   For more information, see Register an Alibaba Cloud account.

1. Fill out the First Month Free Trial Application and click Submit to create your cluster instance.

2. Go to the OceanBase purchase page to create a cluster instance. Select a billing method and configure the basic parameters.

   Configuration parameters	Description
   Product type	Select Subscription.
   Instance Type	Select Cluster Instance.
   Series	Standard Edition (Cloud Disk)
   Region	The geographic location of the instance. To improve access speed, select a region that is close to your geographic location.
   Deployment Solution	Two-data-center deployment
   Node Specifications	4 cores, 16 GB
   Zone	Select a zone with sufficient resources. Note If you have a vSwitch, select the zone where the vSwitch is located.
   Number of Workers	3
   Storage Class	ESSD PL1 cloud disk
   Storage Size	50 GB
   Version	V4.1.0.1
   Number of full-featured replicas	2
   Resource Group	Select the default resource group.

3. Select the quantity and subscription duration.

   Configuration parameters	Description
   Quantity	Select 1.
   Duration	Select 1 Month.
