Channel analysis tracks the volume, quality, and revenue contribution of new users acquired through each marketing channel, helping you optimize acquisition spend.

Note

This document describes how to use Quick Tracking and is intended for technical reference only, not as a sales commitment. The commercial purchase contract governs the specific products and services available to your enterprise. This feature is available in Quick Tracking V2.4.14 and later.

Overview

Channel tracking and analysis helps you answer questions such as:

How many new users does each channel bring?

What is the quality of new users from each channel? Quality metrics include activation rate, key business conversion (such as payments), and retention.

How much revenue do new users from each channel ultimately contribute?

To get accurate channel analysis results, complete the following preparations first.

The following video introduces channel parameters, channel links, and channel analysis.

Applied scenarios and examples

This example evaluates the UV and PV performance of a Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) channel during a 618 promotion campaign. Beyond final transactions, you also need to understand overall PV and UV metrics and downstream conversion. The recommended workflow is as follows:

Step 1. Track key pages and events

Track key behaviors on the target page (for example, pages/main/productDetail) and mini programs to collect behavior events on the product details page.

Step 2. Set up channel information

Go to 「Channel Link」-「Configure Channel Parameters」 to configure channel parameters.
