Notice: Continued service plan for Database Gateway (DG) after its discontinuation
Alibaba Cloud will stop new purchases and renewals for Database Gateway (DG) starting June 25, 2023, due to adjustments in product resource allocation. The DG product is scheduled to be unpublished on May 3, 2024. After this date, Database Gateway will continue to operate as a core component of Data Management (DMS) and Data Transmission Service (DTS), providing access to external databases.

June 25, 2023: Stop new purchases and renewals of DG services and related packages.
NoteBefore the DG product is unpublished on May 3, 2024, you can continue to use the console, submit tickets, and use Alibaba Cloud products supported by DG.
May 3, 2024: Unpublish the DG product.
Continued service plan
After the DG product is unpublished, it will serve as a core component of Data Transmission Service (DTS) and Data Management (DMS) to connect third-party cloud and self-managed databases to DTS, DBS, and DMS.
The original DG console will be migrated to DMS. For more information about Database Gateway, see Product introduction.
