For web applications, Quick Tracking provides eight preset dashboards: Overall Trends, Hourly Insights, New Users, Active Users, Retained Users, Device Terminals, Page List, and Custom Events. This topic describes the data metrics and calculation methods for each dashboard.

Note that all preset dashboards are marked as system-created.image.png

Overall trends

The Overall trends dashboard includes 10 reports: Active Devices, Active Accounts, Key Behavior Counts, Key Metric Trends, Key Metric Trends (Last 30 Days), Page Views by Device, Control Clicks by Device, Custom Events by Device, New Device Access Retention, and Active Device Access Retention. These reports provide a quick overview of your application's data. The calculation methods for these reports are described in the following sections.

  • The number of devices and accounts with any behavior during the selected time frame.

  • Calculation rules for period-over-period and cycle-over-cycle changes.

Period-over-period change = (Current Period Value - Previous Period Value) / Previous Period Value

Cycle-over-cycle change = (Current Period Value - Value from Same Period in Previous Cycle) / Value from Same Period in Previous Cycle
