Connect to an OceanBase database using ODC
Use OceanBase Developer Center (ODC) to manage and maintain OceanBase databases. This topic describes how to add a new database connection in ODC and log on to the database.
Prerequisites
You have an account and the necessary information to log on to an OceanBase database.
Procedure
Log on to the OceanBase console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Data Development to go to the ODC home page.

On the ODC home page, click All Connections > New Personal Connection.

In the New Personal Connection dialog box, enter the following information:
Connection Instance: Select the cluster instance and tenant instance to connect to from the drop-down lists.
Database Username: Select the username to log on to the tenant instance from the drop-down list.
Database Password: Enter the password for the username to log on to the tenant instance.
Save Password: This option is selected by default. If you clear this checkbox, you must re-enter the password each time you access or test the connection.
Default Database/Schema (Optional): The database to log on to by default when you access the tenant.
Click Test Connection. A
icon appears, which indicates that the connection is successful.After the connection test is successful, click the Save button.
In the Enter Connection Name dialog box, enter a connection name and click OK.
After the connection is created, it appears on the All Connections tab. Click the connection name to open the database connection in ODC.
