After you scale in the tutorial_mysql01 tenant, you can scale out the tutorial_mysql02 tenant by changing its specification from 2C8GB to 3C12GB.
Procedure
In the navigation pane, click Database Instances to open the cluster workspace and view the cluster resource usage.
The cluster has 4 CPU cores, with 75% allocated. This leaves 1 CPU core available. The tutorial_mysql02 tenant requires 1 additional CPU core for scale-out. The cluster has 16 GB of storage, with 75% allocated. This leaves 4 GB available. The tutorial_mysql02 tenant requires 4 GB of additional storage. The remaining capacity meets the scale-out requirements.
In the upper-left corner, confirm that the cluster status is Running.
Click Tenant Management and confirm that all tenants are Running.
Click Modify Tenant Resources next to the tutorial_mysql02 tenant.
In the dialog box, change the Unit specification to 3C12GB.
Click Confirm to complete the modification.
