Install a product template to deploy a standard Helm application as Kubernetes workloads.
Prerequisites
You have uploaded a product template or added an external source.
Install a private template
Log on to the LHC console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose App Store > Product Templates.
Click Private Platform > Private Templates.
Click a template card to open its details page. In the upper-right corner, click Install Product.
In the dialog box that appears, set the following parameters.
Release Name: Enter a custom name for the product release. The name can contain lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-). It must start with a lowercase letter and be no more than 32 characters long.
Cluster: Select a cluster.
Namespace: Select a namespace.
Version: Select a version of the template.
Description: Optional. The description can be up to 100 characters long.
Click Submit. You are redirected to the Product Installation Details page.
Click Start/Reinstall, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.
After the installation is complete, you can click the workload or application service link in the release details to view the corresponding details page.
NoteIf the installation fails, click Release Error Log to view the error log and troubleshoot the issue.
To abort the installation, click Cancel Installation, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.
Publishing a public template
Log on to the LHC console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose App Store > Product Templates.
Click the Public Platform tab.
Click a public template card to view the template details.
In the upper-right corner, click Install Product. In the dialog box that appears, set the following parameters.
Release Name: Enter a custom name for the product release. The name can contain lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-). It must start with a lowercase letter and be no more than 32 characters long.
Namespace: Select a namespace.
Version: Select a version of the template.
Description: Optional. The description can be up to 100 characters long.
Click Submit. You are redirected to the Product Installation Details page.
Click Start/Reinstall, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.
After the installation is complete, you can click the workload or application service link in the release details to view the corresponding details page.
