Upgrade a cluster

Upgrade a DashVector cluster to increase its instance type, instance specifications, or number of copies.
Before you begin
Review the following constraints before upgrading:
| Scenario | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Specification changes | Specifications can only be upgraded, not downgraded. |
| Cluster type switching | You can upgrade specifications between performance-optimized and storage-optimized clusters. |
| Free trial to paid | You can upgrade a free trial cluster to a paid cluster. |
| Paid to free trial | You cannot downgrade a paid cluster to a free trial cluster. |

Upgrade a cluster
Log on to the DashVector console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. On the Clusters page, find the cluster you want to upgrade and click Upgrade in the Operation column.

Configure the Instance type, Instance specifications, and Number of copies parameters. Read and agree to the Terms of Service, then click Buy Now.

Click Console to return to the Overview page. After the cluster is upgraded, you can use DashVector.
