Global view: Provides a global overview of service health.
Timely updates: Status publishes timely updates about events affecting cloud products. These include ongoing events, planned maintenance events, and post-mortem reports for resolved events. For each event, Alibaba Cloud provides details about the issue, its impact, resolution progress, and recommended mitigation measures.
Current events: Highlights regional or multi-product incidents at the top of the page.
Event details: Provides detailed information for each event—such as affected products and regions, resolution progress, and post-mortem reports—to help you assess the impact on your applications.
Historical events: Displays event history for the past 12 months.
RSS subscription: Lets you subscribe to updates for specific cloud products via RSS.
Use cases
Incident response: When an incident impacts a cloud product's availability, use Status to get timely updates. This information helps you assess the incident's impact and track its progress, allowing you to implement your contingency plan promptly and minimize business impact.
Troubleshooting: If you encounter unexpected behavior while using a cloud product, check its service status on the Status dashboard to determine if the issue is caused by the service itself.
Disaster recovery switchover: By subscribing to event information on Status, you can perform timely traffic shifting for disaster recovery, ensuring business availability.
