Manage message notifications

Background information

The billing plan for message communication is updated. After you configure a recipient mailbox, the platform sends an email reminder on the next day if the total number of reported messages in a region reaches the alert threshold or exceeds the total number of available messages for the product.

Manage notifications

1. On the Message Package Overview page, select a project, select a product, and then click Notification Management.

   Note

   • Project creators and members with the required product permissions can configure recipient mailboxes.

   • You can configure a maximum of 10 recipient mailboxes.

2. On the Notification Management page, configure recipient mailboxes.

   The configuration is as follows:

   Method 1: Import from history. You can copy all recipient mailboxes from other configured products in the project to the current product.

   Note

   • Only project creators can import from history.

   • No mailboxes are configured for this product.

   • At least one other product in the project must have a recipient mailbox configured.

   Method 2: Add new mailbox.

   You can add a maximum of 10 mailboxes.

3. You can set the Message alert threshold. If the total number of reported messages in a region reaches this threshold, the platform sends an email notification the following day.

   Example: The message alert threshold is set to 80%. The total number of available messages in the China region is 10,000. If the actual number of reported messages in the China region today is 8,200, the threshold is reached. An alert email is sent to the recipient mailboxes on the next day.

4. Message overage alert: The platform sends an email reminder the next day if the total number of reported messages in a region exceeds the total number of available messages for that region.

   Example: The total number of available messages in the China region is 10,000. If the actual number of reported messages in the China region today is 10,200, the available message count is exceeded. An alert email is sent to the recipient mailboxes on the next day.

Notification management - Quick access

1. If a mass-produced product does not have a recipient mailbox configured, the Please configure a recipient mailbox dialog box appears when you open the project page.

2. Click Go to configure mailbox.

3. In the Alternative product catalog, select the mass-produced products for which you want to configure mailboxes. Click the transfer button to move the selected products to the Selected product catalog. Under Recipient mailbox, enter the email addresses. Click the save button to complete the batch configuration.
