This topic describes how to sign in to the mail app and use common features in DingTalk after an administrator enables an enterprise email account in the DingTalk admin console.
Overview
DingTalk, from Alibaba Group, is an instant messaging tool designed to improve communication and collaboration for businesses and academic institutions. To address the challenge of isolated office systems, Alibaba offers DingTalk as a unified entry point for collaboration, built on the enterprise directory. This approach integrates various tools, including a powerful email solution. DingTalk Mail is deeply integrated with Alibaba Mail, combining a seamless email experience with unique DingTalk features. It allows you to use your Alibaba Mail enterprise email account to send and receive messages reliably, making email as simple as a chat.
Daily use
1. Sign in to DingTalk Mail
1. Keep the password from the notification secure. Use it to sign in to the webmail interface at https://qiye.aliyun.com.
2. You can sign in to DingTalk Mail without a password if your account was created in the DingTalk admin console. If your account was created through other methods, such as in the Alibaba Mail admin console, you must sign in with your email address and password.
Sign in on the PC client
After an administrator creates and assigns an enterprise email account in the DingTalk admin console, you will receive an activation reminder in your Work Notification feed on DingTalk. This notification includes your new enterprise email address, password, and the webmail sign-in URL.
You will also receive an introductory email about DingTalk Mail from the Mail Assistant.
In the DingTalk PC client, click the mail app on the Workbench. You are automatically signed in to your enterprise email account.
Sign in on the mobile client
In the DingTalk mobile client, tap More in the bottom-right corner and select the mail app. You are automatically signed in to your enterprise email account.
If you registered your DingTalk account with a phone number, you will receive an SMS notification when your email account is created. For other account types or if you do not receive an SMS, you can find the account information in your Work Notification feed.

2. Send and receive mail
When you compose an email in DingTalk Mail, you can also forward it as a chat message. Note that emails sent from a third-party SMTP client are also delivered as a chat message if the recipient has marked you as a priority contact.

Complete the mail fetching configuration. We recommend using Manual Setup when you configure your POP server.

5. Switch between mail folders

6. Query logs
In Settings, you can also query your login log, mail activity log, and operation log. The operation log tracks actions such as changing the password for a third-party SMTP client or managing your security phone number.
