FAQ for saving Data Exchange datasets
The one-click save feature for Data Exchange datasets uses the data replication feature of Object Storage Service (OSS). This topic answers common questions about this feature.
How long does it take to save a dataset with one click?
The one-click save feature asynchronously saves the selected files from the dataset to the destination bucket. This process can take from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the data size. If you are saving many files or large files, wait for some time before you check whether the operation is complete.
What are the possible reasons for a failed save operation?
Versioning is enabled for the destination bucket
The one-click save operation requires the destination bucket to have versioning disabled. The save task fails if you select a destination bucket for which versioning is enabled or suspended.
Are there any fees for the one-click save feature?
When you perform cross-region replication, OSS charges for the cross-region replication traffic generated by copying files. For more information, see Traffic fees.
Does the one-click save feature overwrite existing files in the destination bucket?
The one-click dataset transfer feature transfers the source dataset to the target Bucket based on the selected scope. This process overwrites files with the same path but does not delete any other existing files.
