You must configure a data source before you create a data migration or data synchronization task. This topic describes how to create a DataHub data source in Data Transmission Service.

Security risk reminder

When you use OceanBase Data Transmission Service, you can add its public CIDR blocks automatically or manually. However, this action may pose security risks. Using this product, you acknowledge and accept these potential risks and must implement basic security measures. These measures include using complex account passwords, restricting open ports for each CIDR block, using authentication for internal API communication, and regularly reviewing and restricting unnecessary IP address ranges.

OceanBase Data Transmission Service adjusts entries in the automatically added whitelists or security groups by adding or deleting them based on business needs and security risks. Do not use the IP address segments in these whitelists or security groups for purposes unrelated to OceanBase Data Transmission Service. Issues that arise from using these IP address segments for other purposes are not covered by the OceanBase Data Transmission Service Service Level Agreement (SLA). For more information about the whitelists or security groups that the service adds, see the Add Whitelist documentation.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the OceanBase console .
