My applications

My applications is where you manage your applications and configure their domain names. Applications can be added in two ways:

• Install an application template.

• Upload a local .tar file to build and install the application.

Instructions

1. Upload an application: Click Upload Application. The system checks if a domain name has been configured for uploads. This domain is used for API calls to push images to ECS instances. If a domain record already exists, you do not need to configure it again. After the domain name is successfully resolved, the Upload Application dialog box appears.

   • After you confirm the upload, the application starts to build.

   • If the build is successful, the application is installed and appears in the application list.

   • If the build fails, retry the operation or upload the application from your local command line.

   Note

   1. Image names must be unique.

   2. Only the .tar file type is supported for local files.

2. Attach a domain name: You can attach multiple domain names to an application. However, each domain name can only be attached to a single application. DNS records for domain names authorized through an Alibaba Cloud account are valid for one year. You do not need to re-authorize the domain name during this period.

   • When you attach a domain name, the system automatically performs one-click resolution. This action requires authorization from the Alibaba Cloud account that owns the domain. The domain name must not have any other DNS records. If other records exist, you must overwrite or delete them before you can use one-click resolution.

3. Detach a domain name: After a domain name is detached, it can no longer be used to access the application.

4. Delete an application: When an application is deleted, any attached domain names are automatically detached.
