Notes

Instances in a master-slave architecture must have at least one secondary node to ensure high availability (HA). You cannot delete a secondary node if it is the only one in the instance.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region. Find the cluster that you want to manage and click the cluster ID to go to the cluster management page.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

  4. Find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID to go to the Basic Information tab of the instance.

  5. In the Database Engine Nodes section, click Operations in the lower-right corner of the target secondary node card and select Delete Node.

  6. In the Delete Secondary Node dialog box, enter yes and click OK.
