Usage notes

1. With pay-as-you-go billing, you are charged based on actual usage. Alibaba Cloud generates bills on a daily billing cycle and deducts the corresponding fees from your Alibaba Cloud account.

2. If a discrepancy of 1% or more exists between your usage statistics and the billed amount, project and technical contacts from both parties will review the data. For discrepancies less than 1%, the billing data from Alibaba Cloud prevails.

Procedure

1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud console and go to Expenses & Costs > Bills.

2. On the Bill Details tab, filter by Product to view the usage and charges for each billable item of that product.

3. To reconcile by call-level details, switch to the Instance Bills / Usage and Billing Details tab. Export the daily bill and match items by using the billable item names in the tables below.

4. For long-term storage or automated reconciliation, enable bill synchronization to OSS or MaxCompute in Expenses & Costs > Billing Management > Bill Storage.

Reconciliation

• Alibaba Cloud generates bills daily, and they are typically available the next day. Charges for API calls made across midnight appear on the following day's bill.

• The billable item is the product name shown on your Alibaba Cloud bill. When reconciling, match by this name, not by the API parameter name.

• The bill lists value-added services, such as advanced packages, as separate line items, distinct from primary billable items. You can find the package consumption for each request in the CostCredits field of the API response.

• With tiered pricing, Alibaba Cloud bills the entire day's usage at the unit price of the tier corresponding to the total number of daily calls. The cost is not calculated cumulatively across tiers. The billed amount is calculated as: Total Daily Calls × Unit Price of the Applicable Tier. This rule applies only to the web search (Standard Edition) Usage billable item.

• Alibaba Cloud bills multi-modal search per call and not based on a tiered price. The amount for Multi-modal Search Usage is calculated as: Total Daily Calls × 25 CNY per 1,000 Calls.

• If you use both the Lite and Pro editions of web Q&A agent under the same account, the bill lists them as separate line items under the same billable item. Use the edition specification code to distinguish between them.

• The web search (Standard Edition) Usage billable item includes usage for vertical search capabilities like MedicalQ&A. Its usage is combined with that of the Generic edition for the daily tier calculation. Ensure you account for this during reconciliation.
